A leading multinational corporation. With multi region worldwide market, it is looking to expand its Malaysia shared services center and hire Regional Payroll Manager talents. There are junior up to senior positions available across the function.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end regional payroll operations across multiple entities and countries

• Ensure payroll accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with local labor laws and statutory requirements

• Lead, coach, and develop payroll team members, fostering a high-performance culture

• Act as the regional subject matter expert for payroll processes, policies, and controls

• Oversee payroll system usage, enhancements, and implementations

• Partner with HR, Finance, and external vendors to resolve payroll issues and drive process improvements

• Support audits, internal controls, and regulatory reporting requirements

• Drive continuous improvement and standardization of payroll processes across the region

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of end-to-end payroll experience, preferably in a regional or multinational environment

• Strong proficiency with payroll systems (e.g., SAP, Workday, ADP, or equivalent)

• Proven leadership experience, including managing or mentoring payroll teams

• Strong knowledge of payroll compliance, tax regulations, and statutory requirements

• Fluent in Mandarin and English (spoken and written) to support regional stakeholders

• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skill
