Regional Marketing Executive

Job description


The Marketing Executive is responsible for planning, building and executing regional marketing campaigns across Asia to successfully maintain and grow existing and new customers. They will further develop current campaigns to increase customer engagement, optimize our communications and support brand objectives. The Marketing Executive will coordinate with the internal marketing team to execute company and online content strategies. They will be responsible for creating content, conducting analysis, improving efficiency, and providing insight to management about the performance of each marketing campaign as well as ensuring best practices and adhering to corporate guidelines.


This is an internal role in the Ambition team, and is based in Kuala Lumpur as part of the Asia Marketing team.


The Marketing Executive will provide support in the following areas (but not limited to) for all Asia markets:
Marketing:

  • Implementation, execution and coordination of regional marketing initiatives

  • Support on marketing strategies and objectives

  • Create, update and evaluate effectiveness of marketing collaterals (e.g. microsites, e-newsletters, posters, presentations, brochures, eDMs, etc.)

  • Management of email campaigns (to follow roster, collate, edit layout and execute)

  • Leverage email marketing tools to develop transactional, promotional, and informational content strategies that maximize customer retention and enable lead nurturing

  • Reporting on analytics on all campaigns

  • Source for partnership opportunities (events and sponsorship)

  • Develop and curate content for social media and company website

  • Assist with eDM copywriting (internal and external)

  • Provide support for digital content strategy and development

  • Draw up clear briefs for design work

  • Manage and update corporate websites (consultant bios, news and events)

  • Perform an extensive array of marketing administrative tasks to support activities

  • Research and perform competition analysis

  • Ensure quality control with all Ambition branded collateral

  • Event management (venue sourcing, negotiation, invitations, guest list management, on-site support, post-event follow up, track analytics and ROI of event) *events are currently virtual until pandemic restrictions allow in-person in the future


Job Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Management/Marketing

  • Experience in marketing communications up to 2-4 years' experience

  • Excellent communication and writing skills is a must

  • Strong project management skills

  • General understanding of and interest in social media

  • Results-driven with exceptional detail and knowledge around metrics, specifically ROI analysis

  • Experience working with major email marketing platforms is a must. Knowledge of marketing automation platforms (e,g. Pardot, Marketo, Hubspot) is preferred

  • Self-motivated and able to multi-task

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Passion for digital marketing, as well as personal achievement of goals with a drive to succeed

  • Exceptional written communication skills and with experience in writing compelling messages to a consumer

  • Localization experience preferred

  • Able to clean and filter databases quite comfortably
