Regional Internal Auditor

About our Client

This company is a manufacturing multinational company based in Selangor. They are looking to hire a Regional Internal Auditor for APAC region.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct professional, full-cycle internal audits across headquarters, regional entities, and manufacturing sites in compliance with internal auditing standards and ethical guidelines.
  • Execute audit procedures by collecting, reviewing, and analyzing audit evidence to assess risks and internal controls using fact-based and logical judgment.
  • Identify root causes of audit findings and recommend practical and effective corrective actions.
  • Perform audits using established internal audit frameworks, including accounting principles and IT General Controls (ITGC).
  • Document audit results and communicate findings, audit status, and remediation progress through written reports and virtual meetings with global stakeholders.

Skills And Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional audit or accounting certifications (e.g., CIA, CISA, CPA, ACCA) are a strong advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years of internal or external auditing experience, with exposure to Big 4 audit, risk management, or compliance preferred.
  • Strong ethical standards, integrity, objectivity, and disciplined work approach, with excellent analytical skills and sound professional judgment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the APAC region (at least one week per month), including participation in global audits and cross-time-zone projects.
