Regional Financial Analyst

We are currently recruiting for our German multinational client in Malaysia who are looking to hire an experienced Regional Financial Analyst, who will be responsible for business and financial analytics matters for the Southeast Asia region. The successful candidate will be supporting and reporting directly to the CFO, based in Kuala Lumpur.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for monthly financial analysis for the Southeast Asia region and present to the management team.
  • Act as the business partner with various head of functions, to drive better targets for both sales and costs.
  • Active participation in forecast and budgeting, working capital, cash flow and detailed P&L analysis.
  • Perform detailed analysis of business costs and propose savings.
  • Identify process improvement areas and propose solutions.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties and projects as and when required.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant financial planning and analysis experience, preferably with a career foundation in external audit.
  • Possess Degree in Accounting/Finance or professionally qualification ie. ACCA, CPA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent.
  • Possess strong critical thinking, analytical skills and able to adapt to business needs and changes.
  • Knowledge in SAP is an added advantage.
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and communication skills in English.
