Regional Commercial Finance Lead (Based in Balakong)

About Our Client:
Our client is an expanding multinational consumer products company in Malaysia who are looking to hire an experienced Regional Commercial Finance Lead, who will be responsible for commercial finance, analytics and business partnering matters for the company. The successful candidate will be supporting and reporting directly to the Head of Finance, based in Seri Kembangan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business partner to the management and commercial heads for detailed financial analysis to drive business growth and decision making.
  • Generate insights through trends, risks, product pricing, competitor analysis, etc. to identify growth opportunities.
  • Drive profitable revenue growth by shaping effective commercial incentives, partnering cross-functionally to identify strategic growth opportunities, and aligning key stakeholders to execute the overall commercial strategy.
  • Prepare forecast and budgeting, inclusive of long-term financial planning for the management.
  • Simulation of financial modelling for CAPEX investment, business cases and close collaboration with manufacturing operational team.
  • Looking into continuous improvements for financial processes, SOP, reporting initiatives, etc.
  • Perform any ad-hoc duties and projects as and when required.


Skills & Experience Required:

  • Possess Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or professionally qualified accountant ie. ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant commercial finance and manufacturing experience, with at least 2-3 years in leadership roles, with background in external audit.
  • Possess strong critical thinking, stakeholder management and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and communication skills in English.
