Radio Frequency Engineer

Job description

Our client is a Multinational Electronics company in Penang. They are currently seeking a Radio Frequency Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the design and analysis of current systems and products to meet specifications, costs, schedules, and quality standards.
  • Gain expert knowledge of RF Match and RF Generator designs by reviewing existing documentation.
  • Apply broad technical expertise in areas such as DC circuits, RF matching impedance, power transistors, and regulatory compliance.
  • Diagnose and address design, performance, and manufacturing issues, recommending solutions and verifying their effectiveness.
  • Follow engineering processes, manage engineering changes, and identify product improvements.
  • Guide technicians and junior engineers in product-related tasks.
  • Analyze manufacturing data to monitor performance and collaborate with various teams to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Address component obsolescence by selecting replacements and redesigning circuitry as needed.



Skills & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Extensive knowledge of electronic components and circuitry, including RF circuits, AC to DC converters, and high-power transistors.
  • Proficient in engineering tools, analytical methods, and diagnostic instruments.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and collaboration skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects independently.
  • 3-4 years of engineering experience from a related environment and professional capacity.
