R2R/GL/RTR System Migration Specialist -Strong IFRS knowledge

Our Client is a Multinational Company and a top leader in its respective industry. Being a public listed MNC with over billions of revenues, they invest massive resources into their staff training programme to develop their people from the ground. They are currently looking for multiple roles - R2R/GL System Specialist (SAP/ORACLE)

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with all finance departments on various projects for optimizing and overhauling information systems impacting the repositories.
• Advise & follow-up of the amendment of accounting and analytical standards on various aspects (IRFS, Consolidation, Tax etc)
• Maintenance of data validation procedures to ensure standards of accounting scheme
• Apply standard measures on accounting schemes to ensure minimal rejections in the interfaces of the group's information systems
• Involvement in ERP system Migration Project
• To liaise and engage with other relevant parties when any Continuous Improvement (CI) process has been identified and require to be implemented

Main Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant experience
• GL/R2R candidate with Accounting system migration experience will be highly advantageous
• Candidate must have strong IFRS & Accounting knowledge to take on this role
• Degree in Finance & Accounting/Commerce or equivalent
• Excellent analytical thinking skills with the initiative to voice out opinion
• Experience working in a Banking / Financial Services / shared service centre (SSC) will be advantageous
• Exposure to SAP will be great
