Quality Assurance Manager

This company in Malacca is a rapidly expanding Multinational player that has a crucial position in the Electronics space. They are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Management System (QMS): Develop, implement, and maintain an effective Quality Management System compliant with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 9001). Ensure all processes align with the QMS.
  • Quality Assurance: Lead and manage a team of quality professionals to conduct inspections, audits, and tests to monitor product quality at every stage of manufacturing.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement, implement corrective and preventive actions, and drive initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
  • Supplier Quality: Collaborate with suppliers to establish and maintain strong quality standards for incoming materials and components. Conduct supplier audits as necessary.
  • Documentation: Oversee the creation and maintenance of quality documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, quality manuals, and records. Ensure compliance with documentation requirements.
  • Customer Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related inquiries and issues from customers. Work to resolve quality concerns and maintain positive customer relationships.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to quality team members and cross-functional teams to enhance their understanding of quality principles and practices.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize data and statistical analysis to monitor quality trends, identify areas of improvement, and implement data-driven solutions.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on relevant industry standards, regulations, and certifications. Ensure the company's quality practices align with compliance requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and quality consciousness throughout the organization.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Quality Management, Engineering, etc.); master's degree preferred.
  • Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or similar certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in Electronics manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems and quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and quality improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to upholding the highest quality standards.
