QA Engineer

About our client:

Our client is a leading local Malaysian payment gateway company, widely recognised for providing secure, reliable, and innovative digital payment solutions to businesses of all sizes. With a strong presence in the fintech ecosystem, the company continues to enhance its platform capabilities to support the growing demand for seamless online payments. As part of their ongoing expansion, they are looking to hire an experienced QA Engineer to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of their payment systems and digital products.


Job Responsibilities

● Develop and execute test plans and test cases for both web and mobile applications.
● Maintain and update test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test
reports.
● Perform CRUD operations on databases using SQL; familiarity with scripting languages
is a plus.
● Understand and analyse user requirement specifications to ensure accurate testing
coverage.
● Identify bugs or defects through manual testing, with the support of automated
testing tools where applicable.

Job Requirements

● Up to 3 years of experience in software quality assurance; fresh candidates with strong
fundamentals are welcome.
● Basic debugging skills and a solid understanding of programming concepts.
● Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
● Experience using test management and issue tracking tools.
● A team player with good communication skills, able to work effectively in a fast-paced,
dynamic environment.
● Ability to speak Mandarin is an advantage, but not required.
● Experience in automation or performance testing is an added advantage.
● Candidates with team leadership experience in QA or familiarity with QA process
management will be given preference.
