Production Supply Chain Planner

Job description

Our client, a leading FMCG company, is looking for a Production Supply Chain Planner to join their team. This role will be overseeing the supply chain and label management for their operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient processes to support production and customer order fulfilment. This role will be based in Selangor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement & Coordination: Manage procurement processes, liaise with suppliers for timely replenishment, and ensure on-time shipment of bulk liquid orders.
  • Label & Consumables Management: Oversee label creation, ensure continuous supply, and manage warehouse consumables replenishment.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work with internal teams to address supply issues, resolve delays, and maintain quality and service levels.
  • Process Improvement & Compliance: Drive continuous improvements, manage material changes, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Shipment & Documentation: Manage shipment bookings, schedules, and documentation for bulk liquid orders to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Possess a Diploma qualification.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., APICS CPIM) are a bonus.
  • Strong proficiency in English, both written and spoken; proficiency in Mandarin (reading and speaking) is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in supply chain management or a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and material planning software, with SAP experience being preferred.
