Production Manager (Spray/Blending)

A large food ingredients manufacturer is looking for an experienced and dynamic Production Manager to join their team. This person will be responsible for overseeing all aspects on Spray Cooling and Blending processes in the production of Food ingredients. This role plays a crucial role in ensuring efficiency, quality, process improvement, meeting productions targets, and maintaining a safe and productive working environment in their manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demands and optimize resources.
• Schedule and coordinate production activities, ensuring adherence to timeline and delivery schedules.
• Oversee the Spray Cooling and Blending processes, ensuring optimal efficiency and output.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance productivity.
• Enhancing the packing activities and reviewing packaging material as ensure integrity of the finished goods.
• Implement and maintain strict quality control measures in line with industry standards and Food Safety.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure product quality and consistency.
• Lead and motivate the production team, fostering a culture of accountability and continue improvement.
• Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and knowledge.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all production staff.
• Conduct regular safety and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Monitor and manage raw material and finished goods inventory levels.
• Coordinate with procurement, demands planner and logistics teams to optimize inventory turnover.
• Work closely with quality assurance, maintenance, and engineering teams to address production challenges and ensure overall operational excellence.

Key requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, B.Sc major in Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in a production management role within the food manufacturing industry, with specific expertise in Spray Cooling and Blending processes. Experience in handling packing machine, packaging material will be an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and quality control procedures.
• Excellent leaderships and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement process improvements.
• A minimum of five (5) years of related Production Leadership role as desired and > 10 years in Production knowledge.
• Ability to communicate at all levels and presentation skills.
• Self-starter: ability to take initiative and work with little direction
