Production Manager

Your new company:

My client is a well-known Food manufacturer looking for Production Manager to optimize their production line. You will play a key player in driving continuous improvement programs for optimal solutions. This role is based in Selangor.

Job responsibilities:

  • Develop a robust production team, focusing on Manufacturing Executives, Line Leaders, and Production Admin.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to address daily issues, new product developments, and key projects.
  • Drive OEE and GR1 through DDS to support business growth plans.
  • Achieve plan attainment to enhance supply reliability while managing plant overhead expenses.
  • Engage shop floor employees through people development and effective communication.
  • Improve inventory accuracy for both raw and packaging materials.
  • Increase product yield and reduce waste for both raw and packaging materials.
  • Support the introduction of new product formulations and packaging to the production line by addressing process and people capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental policies.

Key requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Food Science with a minimum of 10 years of experience, preferably in the FMCG industries.
  • Proficient in canning and thermal manufacturing processes, as well as GMP, ISO, HACCP, FSSC, and other quality systems.
  • Strong awareness of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.
  • Skilled in people management, including performance management, absenteeism, and line management.
