Product Manager (Financial Services)

Job Responsibilities

  • Own and manage tech product solutions across their full lifecycle, from strategy and roadmap planning to delivery and performance tracking.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with objectives and smooth execution.

  • Translate business needs into clear product requirements, specifications, and user experience guidance.

  • Lead system implementation, enhancements, testing, and user validation activities.

  • Prioritize product demands, negotiate trade-offs, and manage stakeholder expectations.

  • Support business case development and assess the financial impact of proposed initiatives.

  • Contribute to long- and mid-term product and portfolio planning aligned with IT and business strategy.

  • Promote best practices, governance, and a culture of agile, cost-efficient delivery.

  • Mentor, coach, and develop team members while managing resource planning and performance.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.

  • 6-8 years of experience in IT product management, software engineering, or similar roles, including 3-5 years in a supervisory capacity.

  • Proven experience leading IT projects from planning through delivery, with strong knowledge of systems, data, and technology implementation.

  • Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies and ability to manage timelines and resources effectively.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including with senior management.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

  • Preferably experienced in insurance operations or distribution models.

  • Self-motivated, able to work independently, and effective in team-based environments.
