Process Engineer, Trim & Form

Our client is a rapidly expanding semiconductor company. They are seeking a Trim & Form Process Engineer due to rapid expansion.


Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain trim and form processes for optical components.
• Analyze existing processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance productivity and product quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, quality, and production, to ensure seamless integration of new processes.
• Design and conduct experiments to test process improvements and validate results.
• Troubleshoot process-related issues and implement corrective actions in a timely manner.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of processes, procedures, and work instructions.
• Train and mentor production staff on best practices and new procedures.
• Monitor process performance using statistical tools and data analysis to ensure consistent quality and output.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in trim and form technologies.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in the optoelectronics or semiconductor industry.
• Strong knowledge of trim and form processes, tools, and equipment.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering design tools.
• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma certification are a plus.
