Plant Manager

Job Description

• Manage a concrete tile manufacturing plant in Malaysia, including main tile and fitting production lines.
• Develop strategies and plans to meet the country's budget and mid-term business plan, focusing on safety and zero defects.
• Set and communicate strategies for all plants and empower plant/line managers.
• Promote innovation, enforce PDCA processes, and ensure manufacturing excellence.
• Strengthen the end-to-end supply chain by collaborating with other functions (PLW, Sales, Marketing, Commercial).
• Lead Capex projects and drive engineering to meet requirements.
• Identify and implement Capex projects and improvements to enhance cost efficiency, productivity, and meet BSI targets.

Job Requirements

• Experience in the construction materials or concrete industry.
• Proven leadership and motivational skills for managing a diverse team.
• Managerial or supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with team members, senior management, and external stakeholders.
• Strong work ethic and proactive management approach.
• Knowledge of SAP/SPC is an advantage.
