About our client:

Our client is an established Manufacturing MNCs, offering great opportunities for internal growth and exposure. They are currently expanding and moving their operations and are looking for talented professional to apply as a Plant Manager.

Responsibilities:

Overall responsibilities involves overseeing functions supporting the plant operations, including Engineering Operations, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain (Planning, logistics and warehousing) and EHS with managers supporting in respective functions, reporting to Regional General Manager

  • Operations:
    • Responsible for P&L of the business unit, cross-department collaborations, operating budget, CAPEX and production planning of the manufacturing plant to ensure smooth operations
    • Responsible for Production, Maintenance, Quality Assurance & Logistics for the plant operations
    • Responsible for industrial and employee relations
    • Ensure production plan and operations meet company agendas, target and agreed output levels
  • Health and Safety:
    • Ensure efficient and safe working environment for the production floor
    • Compliance with local regulator bodies with regards to EHS
  • Other task which relates to the BU

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree of related functions, with background in manufacturing or engineering
  • 5-8 years of working experiences in a management role for a high-volume manufacturing industry is a MUST
  • Fluent in English with great internal and external stakeholder management
  • Analytical, process driven and proven experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Experienced in continuous improvement initiatives and change management
  • Proven experience of managing both technical and human capital aspects of plant operations
  • Open to travel locally
