Plant Financial Controller - Nilai

Key Responsibilities
The Plant Controller is the lead financial advisor to the plant leadership in the group.
Reporting into the CFO, you will be:

• Responsible for the end-to-end accounting & finance performance of several manufacturing sites
• Key business partner to the MD in driving business performance by developing KPIs to improve operational efficiency to allow the group achieve commercial objectives
• Provide insightful data driven findings through budgeting, forecasting and financial planning & analysis to business leaders
• Leading a team of 10-15 in improving the standards of the accounting records, reports and system with accordance to local and international financial reporting guidelines
• Overseeing the inventory level for all sites by tracking the sales target to achieve optimum level.
• Implement internal control procedures and coordinate with the users on SOPs preparation across entire department.
• Perform effective analysis on operational costs to ensure excellence in the purchasing process and procedures.

Requirements

• Must be a qualified accountant (MIA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA/ICAEW or equivalent)
• Overall career experience of 12-15 years, with a minimum 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry
• Hands on leader with a track record of strong leadership capabilities
• Willingness to be based in Nilai, and to travel across manufacturing sites
