Operations Section Manager

This global Electronics manufacturer in Malacca is seeking an Operations Section manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible in the overall aspects include planning, co-ordination and control of the operations or production processes.
• Drawing up a production schedule, monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed.
• Provide necessary support to engineering as need arises.
• Fulfill output target, quality target and maintenance cost budget.
• Participate in new process application and execution of process.
• Coordinate activities related to all production processes.
• To strengthen and enhance the procedures process.
• Supervising and motivating all production team.
• Communication with Marketing / Customers on delivery issues.
• Approval of cost related activities.
• Authorized for production schedule.
• Review and approve lot disposition.
• Provide 8D for reply to customer complaint.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree (at minimum) or Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, or equavalent)
• Strong fundamentals in IATF 16949 & ISO 9001 standards
• Expertise in Quality core problem solving tools; SPC, FMEA, MSA, APQP, etc.
• Certified Auditor competencies (Internal/External/Process Auditor) would be an added advantage
