Operations Analyst, Settlement

This is a 12-month contract position as an Operations Analyst to support Malaysia operations to support various clients based in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. You will be the touchpoint for clients on any enquiries related to bank products, market, entity, and trade status. To deliver premium customer service and manage the relationship between clients and internal departments.

• Day to day operations and interaction with clients on settlement.
• Handle escalations of matched and unmatched trades for clients.
• Respond to clients' enquiries on their settlement of trades in a timely manner
• Work closely with internal departments to ensure timely resolution of client fails and prepare client fails reports
• Involve breaks investigations and other ad hoc projects for new initiatives

Requirements

• Knowledge of Operational Risk, Client Money Protection and Funding
• At least 2 years of working experience within a client service team with particular focus on DMA and OTC
• Excellent communications skills and ability to present and conduct discussions with clients
• Continuous learner - Experience in connecting with a diverse set of clients to understand future business
