Operational Risk - FI

Job description


An established Foreign Financial Institution in Malaysia is looking for an Operational Risk officer. In this role, you will assist in developing, enhancing, and implementing operational risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures. You will support various business and support units in utilizing risk management tools to improve control effectiveness and monitor operational risks.

Key responsibilities:

  • Preparing and reporting Loss Event Data (LED), Key Risk Indicators (KRI), Control Self-Assessments (CSA), and Scenario Analyses (SA) to management and relevant committees.
  • Investigate the root causes of operational risks and develop strategic plans to prevent their recurrence.
  • Analyze operational risk data and trends, prepare risk reports, stay updated with regulatory changes, and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance the bank's operational risk management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in any field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in operational risk within Financial Institutions.
