Network Support Engineer (Medical Devices)

About our client:
We are partnership with a global manufacturing company within the medical devices industry to look for a passionate Network Support Engineer. This role is responsible for providing support for the software and network of their products and working with customers to resolve their issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Regional Software Support & Escalation

  • Serve as the regional escalation point for complex software, database, OS, and network issues.
  • Troubleshoot internal software, databases, upgrades, migrations, virtualization, and network environments.
  • Provide advanced remote support and coordinate on‑site assistance when needed.
  • Conduct root‑cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions.

Training, Coaching & Knowledge Management

  • Build and maintain a regional software troubleshooting knowledge base.
  • Develop SOPs, training materials, troubleshooting guides, and best‑practice documentation.
  • Deliver regional and local training programs for engineers, distributors, and partners.

Audit Coordination & Risk Management

  • Provide day‑to‑day technical guidance to internal and distributor engineers.
  • Ensure strict adherence to case assignment, dispatching, and escalation processes.

Continuous Improvement & Customer Experience

  • Lead initiatives to improve efficiency, first‑time‑fix rates, and knowledge reuse.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and customer‑centricity.

Strategic Responsibilities

  • Support software lifecycle management (releases, upgrades, EOL/EOS planning).
  • Participate in regional business planning, major customer interactions, and strategic projects.

Skills & Experiences required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft tools and Windows Server.
  • Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP).
  • Added advantage: MS SQL Server, PACS, DICOM.
