Marketing Manager

Our client, a US multinational and market leader within the medical devices sector, is currently hiring a Marketing Manager for their Malaysia business. Based in their Kuala Lumpur office, the Marketing Manager is responsible for strategic marketing and portfolio management for Malaysia while leading a small team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop and implement brand marketing plans to drive business objectives
• Develop new product marketing strategies in line with the market goals
• Ownership of brand portfolio, on areas such as pricing, placement, promotion and packaging
• Work alongside the sales team in key account management
• Analyse market conditions and assist in identifying new opportunities to increase market share
• Event management for consumers and trade partners to promote brand awareness

Experience required:

• At least 7+ years' experience in marketing, ideally within the healthcare, pharmaceutical or medical devices sector
• Excellent interpersonal, sales, influencing and negotiation skills
• Strong communication (written and verbal) with English fluency, as well as preparing and presenting high quality presentations
• Able to lead a small team
