Our client is a world leading marketing solutions provider that caters to the FMCG market. Currently, they are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join their Technology team to be based in Kuala Lumpur.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing the ML algorithms that could be used to solve a given problem and ranking them by their success probability.
  • Exploring and visualizing data to gain an understanding of it, then identifying difference in data distribution that could affect performance when deploying the model in the real world.
  • Verifying data quality, and/or ensuring it via data cleaning.
  • Supervising the data acquisition process if more data is needed.
  • Defining validation strategies.
  • Defining the preprocessing or feature engineering to be done on a given data set.
  • Training models and tuning their hyperparameters.
  • Analyzing the errors of the model and designing strategies
  • Hands on algorithm and software development using some combination of Python, JavaScript, or others.

Ideal Skills/ Knowledge Includes:

  • Strong interest in latest Machine Learning Research
  • Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
  • Experience with object detection and/or multi- object tracking
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
