Logistics Specialist

Responsibilities:
? Setting up multiple warehouse and parts rooms.
? Owning all metrics/KPIs and compliance aspects for the logistics team
? Maintaining inventory levels to ensure that stock items are available to support build and repair activities.
? Receiving parts, checking shipments and issuing parts as needed for internal customers.
? Loading and unloading shipments and transporting parts between different sites.
? Maintaining accurate stock records for all items within our care.
? Maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and safety of all workspaces using 5S principles.
Preferred Qualifications:
? Experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment and using computer-based inventory control systems.
? Demonstrated positive work attitude & leadership skills and commitment to a culture of safety.
? Experience handling sensitive items or stock presentation.
? Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
? Experience setting up logistics operations.
? Experience in import and export processes and documentation.
? Willing to be hands on to 50% physical tasks related to warehouse operations (Reach and stretch to position equipment and parts while maintaining balance, Move objects of up to 16 kg into position and participate in group lifts of 20 kg or more, using manual handling equipment).
? Working in a warehouse or office environment around others where appropriate PPE will be provided and required.
? The role may require some travel between sites to successfully complete tasks.

A global Distribution MNC is currently seeking demand & inventory control professionals to join their team as a Inventory Control & Planning Executive.

Responsibilities

• Setting up Logistics operations and multiple warehouse and parts rooms, execution of daily warehouse & logistics operations
• Owning all metrics/KPIs and compliance aspects for the logistics team
• Maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensure that stock items are available to support build and repair activities.
• Maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and safety of all workspaces using 5S principles
• In charge of arrangements for import/exports
• Willing to be hands on for physical tasks, moving objects up to 15-20 KG
• Traveling between different sites for logistics & warehouse scope
  
  

Profile

• Minimum degree in in Supply Chain Management/logistics or related field
• 8 years working experience in Logistics & Warehouse Management
• Preferred industry experience in Telco, Data centers
• Fluent in English, Flexible in traveling within Malaysia
• Proficient with Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Experience setting up data center warehouses and logistics process will be a significant advantage
