Logistics Associate (Contract)

Job description

Key Responsibilities



Order & Supply Chain Coordination

  • Coordinate customer orders with sales, planning, and logistics teams to ensure accuracy, timely processing, and on-time delivery.

  • Support daily supply chain operations by managing order flows, sales data, and logistics documentation.

  • Work cross-functionally to resolve order-related or delivery issues efficiently.



Logistics, Shipping & Documentation

  • Prepare and manage shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, and customs-related paperwork.

  • Coordinate outbound shipments and monitor delivery progress to ensure smooth execution.

  • Support customs clearance activities and ensure compliance with shipping, safety, and regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain well-organized records to support audits and internal controls.



Inventory, Planning & Procurement Support

  • Monitor inventory levels and support production or procurement planning to prevent stock-outs or overstocking.

  • Provide visibility on material availability and flag potential supply risks in advance.

  • Support initiatives to optimize inventory levels and improve stock turnover.



Customer & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a key point of contact for customer inquiries related to orders, deliveries, and logistics status.

  • Resolve customer issues professionally to maintain a high level of service satisfaction.

  • Maintain accurate customer and order-related information in internal systems.



Credit & Commercial Support

  • Assist in basic credit control activities, including monitoring credit exposure and supporting collections where required.

  • Provide operational support to commercial teams to ensure smooth customer interactions.



Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Extract, consolidate, and analyze data related to sales, inventory, production, transportation, and order fulfillment.

  • Prepare regular operational and performance reports for management, including key supply chain and logistics metrics.

  • Use tools such as Excel or BI platforms to identify trends, inefficiencies, and potential cost-saving opportunities.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.

  • Experience in supply chain operations, logistics coordination, order management, or commercial support is an advantage.

  • Basic understanding of Incoterms and international shipping practices is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with SAP systems is an added advantage.

  • Exposure to Power BI or similar reporting/BI tools is a plus.

  • Strong coordination and communication skills with the ability to work across multiple teams.

  • Conscientious with good documentation and organizational skills.

  • Comfortable working with data, reports, and operational metrics using Excel or similar tools.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy operational environment.
