Logistics & Purchasing Executive (Import)

This well-known distribution MNC based in PJ is looking to hire a Logistics & Purchasing Executive and their main responsibility will be providing factories with low cost procurement logistics solutions. The role is also open to fresh graduates from the supply chain or logistics degree backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and managing factories procurement requirements and activities to satisfy the factories needs
• Following up with the shipments and scheduling arrangements with the suppliers
• Updating factory forecasts to the suppliers and going quality defect follow ups
• Making sure the supple cargo has the correct quantities and pricing to prevent any discrepancies from happening
• Taking part in monthly stock counts

Skills & Experience Required:

• Holding a Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or relevant. Fresh graduates are open to apply as long as from the supply chain education
• Have 1-2 years of relevant work experience within the import logistics and purchasing is preferred
• Have a good command of the English and Malay language, preferably with Mandarin skills
• Knowledgeable with logistics & purchasing
