Litigation for Group Legal

A well established financial institution of mine is seeking a highly skilled Legal Counsel with expertise in business, syariah law, and commercial operations. You will manage the organization's legal portfolio, providing crucial advice on various legal issues to safeguard our interests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice and manage the organization's legal portfolio.
• Advise on immediate legal problems and recommend changes for safe and profitable business operations.
• Handle complex cases independently with minimal guidance.
• Lead the legal team to meet their deliverables.
• Manage litigation and regulatory disputes, offering cost-effective and efficient legal strategies.

Key Accountabilities:

• Minimum 6 years of post-qualification experience in law firms or as in-house Legal Counsel.
• Provide litigation and dispute resolution advice to management and business units.
• Ensure legal services are reported and allocated according to Business Units.
• Ensure value for money and quality of legal services from internal and external solicitors.
• Develop strategies to minimize reputational risk and meet litigation needs effectively.
