Lead Developer (Golang)

Our client is a well-established e-commerce platform with strong regional presence in South East Asia. We are recruiting a Lead Developer (Golang) to manage a team of 3 to 4 mid to senior level developers. As the team structure is relatively lean, the incumbent is expected to work on hands on development for 60% of the time with 40% of team management duties.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Review and propose effective changes for the technical design of mobile applications
  • Provide architecture blueprint and roadmap based on appropriate event-driven architecture and microservices standards
  • Oversees end-to-end development and architecture design
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical team members in implementing CI/CD initiatives

Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems/Computer Science equivalent
  • A minimum of 10 years hands on experience in software development in any OOP languages (Preferably with some exposure to Go)
  • At least 2 years of team management experience
  • Good communication skills in English
