About Our Client

Our client is a global leader in home appliances. They are seeking a Key Account Specialist to drive strategic partnerships and deliver exceptional growth across key retail and distribution channels within East Malaysia. The role can be based in either Kuching or Kota Kinabalu.

Key Responsibilities

    • Own and grow strategic accounts by developing strong relationships with key stakeholders and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
    • Drive revenue and market share through effective negotiation, joint business planning, and execution of tailored strategies for each account.
    • Analyze performance and identify opportunities by leveraging data insights to optimize assortment, pricing, and promotional activities.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution and maximize customer satisfaction.
    • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to proactively adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements

  • Comes with at least 3 - 5 years of experience in account management / sales within the appliances, consumer electronics, consumer goods, or related industries.
  • Proven track record in managing small to large accounts across East Malaysia.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills with a commercial mindset.
