Java Lead - Application Support

Job description

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for L3 production service maintenance and the delivery of server-side related changes in digital banking solutions
  • Lead L3 support technical team (Server), provide guidance and direction required for application mainentance/defect fixes, delivery
  • Ensure incidents and problems resolved according to SLA
  • Liaise with other support units on application set up, environment and deployment

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Technology Solutions
  • Experience supporting service delivery of applications in the banking industry will be an added advantage
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree holder in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Technical experience in server-side frameworks like Java, Spring Boot, Core Java
  • Proficient in detailed defect analysis, UNIX, Linux
  • Hands-on experience in L3 support, like bug fixing, troubleshooting
  • Solid organisational skills to understand production incidents and lead teams to deliver fixes and enhancements within SLA
  • Experience in managing 30-40 resources.
  • Experienced working in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Experienced in DevOps.
  • Hands-on development experience using Java/J2EE technologies, microservice development using RESTful web services
