IT/Automation Engineer/Section Manager

About our client:

Our client is a leading multinational manufacturing company in the semiconductor industry, seeking a dedicated automation engineer to support and enhance automation systems within their production environment. This role involves both operational support and project-based initiatives to continuously improve internal processes and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive and support automation-related projects, system upgrades, and daily operations.
• Gather business and technical requirements, translating them into effective automation solutions.
• Perform system configuration, programming, and minor customizations for automation equipment.
• Prepare documentation including functional specifications, test scripts, and user guides.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure seamless integration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve automation system issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Ensure integration and compatibility across various manufacturing systems and processes.
  
  

Skills & Experience Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in automation systems within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of:
• PLC programming and troubleshooting
• SCADA systems and industrial communication protocols
• Robotics and motion control systems
• Ability to configure and customize automation solutions for production lines.
