International Business Development Manager - Factory Automation

Our client specializes in designing smart factory automation systems and customized industrial equipment, offering end-to-end capabilities from conceptual design and prototyping to mass production. Due to expansion into international markets, they are looking for an experienced business development manager to scale their growth globally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement international business development strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
• Identify and penetrate new markets, regions, and industry verticals for automation solutions.
• Achieve assigned revenue and margin targets through proactive prospecting and solution selling.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and tender submissions for large-scale automation projects.
• Work closely with engineering, project management, and operations teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Analyze global market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategy.
• Provide regular pipeline updates, forecasts, and performance reports to senior management.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering would be ideal.
• 5 - 8 years of experience in industrial automation or factory automation sales.
• Technical understanding of automation systems, robotics, and smart manufacturing solutions.
• Proven track record in global business development and achieving sales targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required.
