Industrial Engineering Manager (Semiconductor)

Job description

Our client is one of the leading semiconductor manufacturers in the market, offering great opportunities for internal growth and cross department exposure. They are currently expanding their operations and are looking for a Packaging Engineer.

Responsibilities:

Directs groups or functions performing and evaluating work measurement and workflow analysis for the establishment of standards and the utilization of production facilities. Oversees the development of plant and equipment layout, capacity plans, workflow, product assembly instructions and practices or accident prevention measures to maintain efficient and safe utilization of plant facilities. Establishes policies and objectives for development. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel ensuring the efficient operation of the function. Provides general supervision to lower level supervisors and direct supervision to exempt employees and/or skilled nonexempt employees (i.e., industrial engineers, technicians).

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 - 10 years of related experience in semiconductor field
  • Must have vast knowledge on highly automated cleanroom production line design
  • Equipped with people manager skill
  • Able to lead a team to accomplish production line design and improvement projects
  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
  • Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
  • Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
  • Working well in a team environment is imperative in this role
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships
  • Good listener and excellent verbal and written communication skills
