Head of Supply Chain (Manufacturing)

Our client is one of the leading companies when it comes to the manufacturing industry. Due to expansion plans, they are currently looking for a Head of Supply Chain to join their growing company. This role will be based in Selangor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and implement supply chain strategies that align with business goals, covering areas such as workforce management, materials procurement, and planning and project management.
• Enhance business processes and lead continuous improvement efforts to boost efficiency, lower costs, and ensure the timely delivery of materials and products, thereby achieving a Just-In-Time (JIT) production system.
• Establish and sustain robust relationships with suppliers, negotiate contract terms, and assess their performance.

Skills & Experience Required:

• At least 10 years of progressive experience in supply chain and project management, ideally within the manufacturing sector.
• Experience with project management methodologies such as Kanban, Waterfall, and Lean.
• Outstanding leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams across different functions.
• Capability to create and implement long-term supply chain strategies.
