General Manager - Supply Chain & Logistics (Retail)

Job description

This leading retail MNC based in Selangor is looking for hire an experienced General Manager from a FMCG background with ability to manage a sizeable warehouse space and have experience with the AGV system. This role will be managing the entire supply chain function which includes demand forecasting, inventory planning, warehouse management and logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring all operations of warehouse are complying with OSHA requirements
  • Ensuring operations of ambient and chilled warehouses are managed efficiently and are operating within the targeted cost structures and delivery schedules
  • Managing productive relationships with all vendors and service providers
  • Establishing and managing annual budgets and controlling operating costs
  • Managing the warehouse employees for productivity and the performance of the supply chain team so inventory is in targeted demand

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Holding a Degree in Logistics or relevant and have at least 10 years of supply chain experience with at least 5 years in a managerial position
  • Preferred experience and background of choice is in FMCG, retail or in an industry with high volume SKU's
  • Must have experience with WMS and AGV software systems
