General Manager

Job description

Our client is a rapidly expanding Semiconductor company with a global footprint. They are currently seeking a General Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:

    • Develop and implement the company's strategic plans in alignment with the overall business objectives.
    • Drive innovation and growth initiatives to expand market share and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
    • Lead the development of new services, technologies, and partnerships to enhance the company's competitive position.
  • Operational Excellence:

    • Oversee all aspects of day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery of services.
    • Optimize manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and resource allocation to achieve operational excellence.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive productivity and profitability.
  • Financial Management:

    • Develop and manage the annual budget, forecasts, and financial plans to achieve revenue and profit targets.
    • Implement cost control measures and identify opportunities for revenue growth and margin enhancement.
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, reporting requirements, and internal policies.
  • Team Leadership and Development:

    • Provide visionary leadership to inspire and motivate employees towards achieving company goals.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence throughout the organization.
    • Recruit, mentor, and develop talent, building a high-performing team with a focus on succession planning.
  • Customer and Stakeholder Relations:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
    • Drive customer satisfaction by understanding their needs, delivering value-added solutions, and ensuring exceptional service.
    • Represent this Semiconductor company in industry events, conferences, and forums to enhance the company's reputation and visibility.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of at least 10 years in senior management roles within the semiconductor industry.
  • Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of semiconductor packaging, assembly, and testing.
  • Demonstrated success in strategic planning, business development, and revenue growth.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Solid financial management experience, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and competitive landscape.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
  • Open to consider expats.
