The Senior Lead Financial Controller is responsible for ensuring strong financial governance, accurate reporting, and strategic cost allocation across multiple business units. This role combines technical accounting expertise with leadership in financial process optimization.
Financial Controlling & Reporting
Oversee month-end close, statutory accounts, and consolidated reporting for assigned entities.
Ensure compliance with international accounting standards and internal policies.
Manage external audits and coordinate with auditors to deliver timely, high-quality reports.
Cost Allocation & Financial Modeling
Design, maintain, and continuously improve cost allocation models across operations.
Provide insights into cost drivers and ensure allocations align with tax and accounting requirements.
Support management with scenario analysis and financial modeling for strategic decisions.
Internal Controls & Risk Management
Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance.
Identify financial risks and propose mitigation strategies.
Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Partner with business units to deliver financial transparency and support decision-making.
Act as a key liaison between local finance teams and global headquarters.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior controllers and finance staff.
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Professional Certification: CPA, ACCA, or equivalent preferred.
Experience: Minimum 8-10 years in financial controlling, with exposure to multinational environments.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards.
Advanced Excel and ERP system proficiency (SAP preferred).
