About our client:

Our client is one of the established manufacturing MNC in based in Malaysia. In accordance with the company's plans to further expand their business, they are currently looking for someone with great analytics and business acumen to apply to the role of financial analyst.

Responsibilities:

1. Weekly Sales Forecast and quarterly P/L Support

• work closely with Country FD and Business Units on forecast
• Analyse Sales trend, highlighting risk and potentials, process and compile analytics

2. Country Reporting

• Responsible for the timely and accurate consolidation and completion of weekly, monthly and quarterly reports
• Drive report standardization and improvement with HQ and region

3. Monthly and quarterly Business Review Meeting Support

• prepare charts and analysis, key commentaries and highlights

4. Yearly Budget/Planning and Forecasting

• Develop country specific budget templates and work with key stakeholders to consolidate forecast input
• Analyse consolidated forecast input and provide high level analytics to Country FD to facilitate country review
• Translate country approved Budget/Forecast information into Budget system templates for submission into TM1/HFM
• Support Country FD in preparation of relevant reports and presentation deck for Region/GHO review
• Support Regional FP&A in GHO review (queries, reports, presentation deck)

5. Support Country FD and Business Units in project and capital investment evaluations through ROI, NPV or other financial modelling techniques
6. Able to communicate professionally & influence internal staff & key stakeholders to meet KPIs and timeline
7. Other ad hoc duties within reasonable grounds

Requirements:

• Analytical, flexible, problem solving mentality with excellent skills in excel and presentation tools
• Financial modelling and medical devices experience will be highly valued in this role
• Strong communication and stakeholder management
• Strong team player with track record in finance/business analysis role
• Initiative to raise issue or improvement initiatives, within his/her area of responsibilities
