Finance Project Manager (SAP FICO)

About our Client

This multinational company based in Kuala Lumpur is looking to hire a Finance Project Manager with strong background in SAP FICO modules to help drive finance transformation initiatives across the organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of SAP FICO implementation projects.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into SAP FICO solutions.
  • Manage cross-functional teams of finance, IT, and external consultants to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related queries and escalate issues as needed.
  • Ensure that SAP FICO solutions are aligned with business processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to ensure continuous improvement and optimization of SAP FICO solutions.

Skills And Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Finance Project Manager, with a focus on SAP FICO module implementation and support.
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting, cost accounting, and controlling processes within SAP FICO.
  • Experience in managing large-scale finance transformation projects within a global or multi-national organization.
  • SAP certification in FICO (preferred) or other relevant certifications.
