About our client:

This company is a well-known MNC in the manufacturing industry with multiple brand presence and partnerships across the globe. They are looking to hire a finance manager to be based in their shah alam plant to support their management team and lead the local finance team.

Your key responsibilities includes:

• Take charge of budgeting, forecasting, FP&A and finance reporting.
• Handle costing, inventory management and stock take.
• Responsible for all controlling matters in the country.
• Ensure alignment of local processes and controllership compliance
• Co‐ordinate with Treasury for local treasury/banking requirements
• Lead projects on process improvement, streamlining and re-engineering
• Manage and guide a lean team towards excellence
• Support on audits, statutory reporting and tax

The ideal candidate should have:

• At least a bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting, and/or professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, etc.)
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in scope involving financial reporting, business partnering, and costing with a solid foundation in controllership
• Exposure in Manufacturing industry.
• Experience using SAP system
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders (finance and non-finance)
