Finance Manager (Based in Shah Alam)

About our client:

We are currently recruiting for a multinational consumer products manufacturing company in Malaysia, with established presence in the Malaysian market, who is looking to hire an experienced Finance Manager. You'll be responsible for full spectrum of finance and managing the finance team. The successful candidate will be supporting and reporting directly to the Senior Finance Manager, based in Shah Alam.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the General Ledger and Accounts Payable function.
• Responsible for review of financial closing and reports for both month-end and year-end.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to team members for their career development and technical knowledge.
• Prepare annual budget and actively participate in the forecasting processes with the management team.
• Responsible for improving processes, efficiencies, and internal controls whenever necessary.
• Perform in ad-hoc assignments as and when required.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Possess Degree in Finance/Accountancy or professionally qualified accountant ie. ACCA, CPA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant financial reporting with people management experience.
• Proficiency in SAP is an added advantage.
• Possess strong interpersonal, people management and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and communication skills in English.
