Finance Manager (Based in Pasir Gudang)

About our client:


Our client is a multinational company in the FMCG product manufacturing industry, with an established presence in worldwide. They are looking to hire an experienced Finance Manager, who will be responsible for full spectrum of statutory finance matters in a manufacturing environment, as well as leading the team there.



Key Responsibilities:
You will be supporting and reporting directly to the Financial Controller, based in Johor.

  • Responsible for full spectrum of financial reporting which includes all functions like AR, AP, GL, tax, audit, etc.
  • Oversees the team for the month end closing, financial reports and review performance of staffs.
  • Ensure compliance to statutory requirements and group policies.
  • Actively propose improvements on both processes and internal controls.
  • Business partner to both the commercial and management team on business decisions and expansions.
  • Assist in forecast and budgeting activities.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties and assignments as and when required.



Skills & Experience Required:

  • Minimum 8 years of financial reporting experience, preferably in manufacturing industry.
  • Equipped with leadership skills and experience in leading a big team.
  • Possess Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or professional qualification ie. ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent.
  • Possess strong critical thinking, independent and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent written and communication skills in English and Mandarin.
