Finance Manager (Based in Kuching)

About our client:

We are currently recruiting for a well-known and rapidly growing multinational consumer manufacturing company in Malaysia who is looking to hire an experienced Finance Manager, who will be overseeing the full spectrum of finance and lead the finance team. The successful candidate will be supporting and reporting directly to the Financial Controller, based in Kuching, Sarawak.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and responsible for the full spectrum of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting process.
• Provide guidance and training to the finance team as required.
• Closely analyse financial performance with detailed commentary to the management.
• Prepare forecast and budget with close monitoring and manage cash flow.
• Closely monitor product and manufacturing costing.
• Ensure that SOPs and internal controls are in compliance with group process and compliance, provide suggestions for improvement whenever required.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors, tax agents for statutory submission matters.
• Perform in ad-hoc assignments as and when required.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Possess Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy or professionally qualified accountant ie. ACCA, CPA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant financial reporting with manufacturing experience.
• Possess strong interpersonal, people management and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and communication skills in English.
