Finance Manager

Finance Manager based in Petaling Jaya

About our client:
This company is a startup MNC in the consulting industry with multiple brand presence and partnerships across the globe. They are looking to hire a finance manager to head the finance team and to build the Malaysian finance team from scratch.

Your key responsibilities includes:
* Preparation of financial statements including balance sheets, income and cash flow statements.
* Responsible for the annual budgeting and forecasting plan with senior management.
* Ensure alignment of local processes and controllership compliance
* Co‐ordinate with Treasury for local treasury/banking requirements
* Serve as a key point of contact for client engagements related to financial matters. Provide financial advice and support to clients, addressing their specific needs and concerns.
* Manage and guide a lean team towards excellence
* Support on audits, statutory reporting and tax

The ideal candidate should have:
* At least a bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting, and/or professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, etc.)
*Big 4/ big 10 exposure
* A proven track record of being a key contributor to the business's commercial value and prior experience in Controlling
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders (finance and non-finance)
