Finance Executive (GL & Financial Reporting)

We are currently recruiting for a renowned healthcare company in Malaysia who are looking to hire an experienced Finance Executive - GL & Reporting, who will be responsible for finance and accounting matters for the assigned legal entity(s) in the company. The successful candidate will be supporting and reporting directly to Finance Manager, based in Sunway.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform month end closing activities and preparation of financial reports.
• Monthly activities include preparation of journal vouchers, balance sheet reconciliation, fixed asset management and ensuring data is reflected correctly in the accounting system.
• Participation in yearly internal and external audit.
• Preparation of data for tax submission and yearly budget.
• Perform ad-hoc duties and assignments as and when required.

Skills & Experience Required:

• MUST be a professionally qualified accountant ie. ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant financial reporting experience, preferably with a career foundation in external audit in a Big 4 Firm.
• Possess strong critical thinking, interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and communication skills in English.
