About Our Client

Our client is one of the established IT companies in Malaysia. In accordance with the company's plans to further expand their business, they are currently looking for a driven individual to partner with in bringing their business to the next level. Being a fast-paced work organization, they are looking for a top-notch finance professional to apply to the role of Finance Director.

Key Responsibilities

As a key member of the Management team, the Finance Director assumes a strategic role in the overall management of the entity. As a pivotal finance leader, this person will drive initiatives to improve the financial deliveries and involve in the development of the entity's short and long-term strategic plans. As a vital business partner, this person will work closely with key internal and external stakeholders in driving productivity and continuous financial process improvements.

  • Responsible for the present financial condition of the company, as well as deciding how to invest the money of the company, taking into consideration risk and liquidity
  • Present and report accurate and timely historical financial information of the company for all stakeholders
  • Oversee and address the issues of capital structure of the company, determining the best mix of debt, equity and internal financing
  • Identify and report what areas of a company are most efficient and how the company can capitalize on this information
  • Devise solid financial strategy that the Company can leverage on with funds to maximize profit

Requirements

  • Minimum Degree in Accounting/Finance, and possess professional certificationssuch as ICAEW/CPA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent
  • 10+ years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles
  • Must have experience working in the IT industry with proven ability to inspire and manage teams, both directly and interdepartmental
  • Experience working in a start-up environment is strongly preferred
  • Great leadership skills and able to work under pressure
  • Excellent English communication skills
