Finance Controller (Property & Construction)

About our Client

This property company based in Kuala Lumpur is looking to hire a Group Senior Finance Manager/ Finance Controller to join the comapny. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, reporting and streategy for the business.

About your role

• Lead the consolidation of group financial results, ensuring accurate financial, management, and statutory reporting.
• Coordinate the group budgeting process, financial planning, and forecasting for corporate exercises, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Develop financial models and conduct feasibility studies to evaluate proposed investments and corporate exercises for strategic planning and decision-making.
• Ensure tax compliance and obtimize tax obligations.
• Oversee treasury functions including working capital management, fund management, issuance of bank guarantees, letter of credit, interest rate swaps, and rolling cash flow forecasts.
• Manage corporate finance activities including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), IPOs, bonus issues, and fundraising via equity and debt markets (private placements, rights issues, etc.).

Skills And Experience Required

• A minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in finance and corporate services, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role, preferably in the property and real estate industry.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
