Finance Business Partner (1 Year Contract)

About Our Client:

We are currently recruiting for a multinational FMCG company, who has worldwide operations and business and is looking to expand further. They are looking to hire an experienced Finance Business Partner, who will be holding a crucial role, working closely with both finance and commercial team, acting as the business partner to advise on business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be supporting and reporting directly to the Finance Manager, based in Petaling Jaya:

  • Perform detailed analytics on key metrics for key components in P/L, such as sales, margin, etc.
  • Consolidate and prepare analysis on forecasts and budgets, along with reports by customers and channels.
  • Proactively identify business growth opportunities with Commercial team, support with market research and analytics to present to the management team.
  • Work closely with both Finance and Commercial team for commentaries on sales result between Actual vs Budget.
  • Support manager on delivering ad-hoc and long term projects, mainly to drive business growth and improve financial performance.
  • Update and improve dashboards so that management team and function heads could refer to the data to support business decisions.
  • Perform in ad-hoc duties as and when required.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Possess Bachelors' Degree in Finance/Accounting or professionally qualified accountant ie. ACCA, CPA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant financial experience, with a mixture of experience in financial reporting, analytics and business partner.
  • Possess strong critical thinking, proactive and analytical skills.
  • Practical knowledge on PowerBI and SAP would be an added advantage.
  • Excellent written and communication skills in English and ability to converse with various international stakeholders.
