Finance & Accounting Manager (Based in Mexico)

Our client is a well-established company from SEA with Global operations specialising in the manufacturing and distribution of industrial products

As part of their growth and expansion strategy, they are seeking a high performing Finance & Accounting Manager to be based in their Mexico sales & distribution centre. You will report to the Country Manager of Mexico, working with the Group Finance Lead based in the SEA Region. They require someone who works independently in fast-paced environments to supervise the Finance & Accounting team, and oversee the full spectrum of day-to-day office operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle full set of accounts
  • Manage and supervise the daily operations of the finance & accounting team
  • Prepare the monthly business review and financial reports for management and operational teams
  • Prepare annual budget, monthly cashflow forecast and operational cost analysis
  • Manage payment and Control company's operational expense
  • Manage Collection, Credit, Customer & Product's profitability
  • Review and Approve Monthly payroll
  • Liaise with external auditors for statutory audit
  • Ensure Tax & Other legal Compliance
  • In charge of comprehensive business analysis to assist on-going business, planning and management to improve company performance
  • Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company
  • Other ad hoc assignment by management

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Possess a Degree in Accounting
  • Able to communicate effectively in English.
  • At least 8-10 years working experience in Finance & Accounting, trading or wholesale distribution business.
  • Ready to be based in Mexico for 3 years (fixed term employment contract for VISA)
