Factory Controller

An exciting opportunity to be part of the regional team in a leading Multinational Manufacturer. I'm looking for a dedicated and motivated Factory controller to look after the day to day finance operation of their main manufacturing plant based in Melaka.

Responsiilities:

  • Monitoring and follow up on the effectiveness of the operations, the quality, and costs reductions, overall area of PKF
  • Review and prepare analysis of the actual variable production costs in the factory and compared against another period, budget, forecast etc.
  • Manage and provide detailed follow up for the management on PKF related costs savings, investment related cost savings, and VPC related cost savings
  • Product Costing- To maintain an accurate BOM and helping the operations department when dealing with new articles.
  • Monitor all stock movement postings to ensure right posting by SAP users.
  • Review all investment projects status and ensure project managers complete projects on time and within approved budget.
  • Monthly end closing

Requirements:

  • Bachelor/master's degree in accounting/finance or other related.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing costing
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and SAP required
  • Excellent written and oral communication in English & Bahasa Malaysia
  • Comfortable with walking at production floor daily and frequent local business travelling with own transportation. (Prefer Candidate based in Melaka)
